One of Michigan’s biggest farm conferences is making its return for 2022. The Great Lakes Crop Summit will be back at the Soaring Eagle Casino January 26 and 27.
“We are so excited to be back in-person at tour Great Lakes Crop Summit in January 2022,” says Kristin Poley of Michigan Corn, who serves as the event coordinator. “WE can expect some awesome keynote sessions that we are so excited for and breakout sessions that are going to be specific to all the commodities involved.”
The event is a collaboration between the Michigan’s wheat, soybean and corn checkoffs. Attendees can expect a similar event as in years past.
“This year our keynote speakers are Chad Pullman with New Wave Technologies, talking about cyber security on the farm,” says Poley. “We also have Paul Long who is a motivational speaker who specializes in agriculture. Finally, we are so excited to present a live taping of the U.S. Farm Report on January 26.”
A full agenda hasn’t been released yet, but Poley says breakout topics will be on fertility, weed control, marketing and carbon. Registration is now open. You can register for discounted rates by clicking here.
