Michigan Corn, Soybean, Sugarbeet Acres Up From 2019, Wheat Acres Lower

In USDA’s July Agriculture Across Michigan report, Michigan farmers rebounded from 2019.

Michigan growers planted 2.3 million acres of corn, which is more than 2018 and 2019. Soybean acres were up compared to 2019 as well. Winter wheat acres followed the national trend and are down compared to 2019.

Michigan plans on harvesting 1.9 million acres of corn, 2.3 million acres of soybeans, and 480 thousand acres of wheat.
