Making Money from Prevent Plant Forage Acres

Some Michigan farmers that have prevent plant have planted forage on those acres. Michigan Statue University has some ideas of what to do with those forage acres.

“One of our farm management educators put out a really nice article about pricing standing corn silage and a lot of the principles that are in that can also be related to the sorghum that was planted,” said Bob Ross with MSU Extension. “There’s an opportunity for a farmer to put a little extra money in their pocket.”
