The Michigan Ag Today Podcast for 3/21/25

On the “Finally Friday” edition of the Michigan Ag Today Podcast: The price that you’re paying for a carton of eggs at your grocery store has likely dropped a little lower compared to what it was just one month ago. Brooke Rollins, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, says the agency has been working to increase the import of eggs as a short-term solution.

“Turkey and South Korea have both confirmed they will be increasing breaker egg imports into the U.S.,” says Rollins. “We continue to work that issue very, very aggressively to keep getting the price of eggs down.”
