BASF’s Engenia herbicide received a new registration from the EPA for the 2021 season. That means growers need to update their education.
Trevor Kraus is the technical service representative with BASF. He says the company has had to make adjustments.
“With the pandemic, doing in-person training has been more of a challenge this year,” he said. “In-person was our primary way of conducting dicamba training with growers.”
As with everything else, those trainings have gone online.
“We do have an online module growers can take—this past winter we also had a number of recurring webinars so growers could sign up for webinars and get their training that way,” said Kraus.
