According to the latest USDA Crop Progress Report, one percent of Michigan’s corn for grain and two percent of the state’s soybeans have been harvested.
Ben Hoyt, a Specialty Hybrids dealer based out of Calhoun County, says harvest has yet to begin throughout his area.
“It looks like we’re probably two weeks out on corn and a week out on beans,” says Hoyt.
