Michigan Sugarbeets

According to the USDA’s latest Crop Progress Report, Michigan’s sugarbeets are now 95 percent planted. That compares to 75 percent for last week and 49 percent for two weeks ago.

USDA also says that Michigan’s sugarbeet planting progress is well above the five-year planting pace of 79 percent. In addition, 60 percent of the state’s sugarbeets that have been planted so far have already emerged.
