The Michigan Agri-Business Association (MABA) Tuesday announced its 88th Winter Conference and Trade Show will be hosted virtually in 2021.

“While uncertainty with COVID-19 prevents us from hosting the 2021 MABA Winter Conference in person, we’re excited to bring people together virtually this year,” said MABA president Chuck Lippstreu. “The MABA Winter Conference is a go-to event for training and certification, a look at what’s coming our way in Michigan agriculture, and a chance to interact with others in the industry. A virtual format allows us to deliver for our members and for Michigan agriculture in 2021.”

Information about the Winter Conference and Trade Show will continually be updated at www.miagbiz.org. The speaking program and registration portal for the conference will be available in the coming weeks.

Here are some key updates about the 2021 MABA Virtual Winter Conference and Trade Show:

  • Dates: Conference programming will now run Monday-Thursday, January 11-14, 2021 via a virtual conference and trade show platform. Most conference programming will occur in the morning on these days and conclude by 12:00 PM.
  • Schedule: MABA will offer the same array of Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) Continuing Education Units (CEU) and RUP applicator credits as are normally offered at the Winter Conference, along with a wide range of industry outlook sessions.
  • Registration and Cost: Registration will open in the coming weeks and offer a single attendee registration good for the full week of programming. Additionally, a “virtual trade show” will allow MABA Trade Show exhibitors to stay engaged and visible in 2021. Additional information will be released on www.miagbiz.org.
