From Thursday through Saturday, Michigan should expect more of the same: sunshine and blue skies.

However, as we approach Sunday and start the week, MAT chief meteorologist Ryan Martin says he’s watching for potential moisture from the north and west.

“I think your Sunday will feature scattered showers over a large part of Michigan—a quarter to three quarters of an inch in totals,” he said. “By the time we get to Monday morning, we will be seeing this moisture out of here.”

Martin is forecasting a dry week, with a few increases of clouds around midweek, but nothing that brings rain.

“One rain threat out of the next 10 days still, and we are looking at temperatures riding a roller coaster—warm to finish this week, cool to start next week,” he said. “By late next week, we’re back to very warm again.”
