Not Too Late to Get the Right Soil Nutrition With DAIRY DOO

“The healthier the soil, the healthier the plant. The healthier the plant, the more yield.”

That concept is simple enough, but it can be easier said than done. Justin Morgan, VP of Morgan Composting- the makers of DAIRY DOO compost and fertilizer, says it’s not too late for DAIRY DOO to help your crops this season and make that concept a reality.

“Seeds are in the ground now, and if maybe it’s just petering out or maybe our soils are not doing exactly what we want to on the corn, soybeans, sugar beets, we can make a liquid application with liquid carbons that go through the sprayer and then help feed the soil. Also, it’ll help open the cell walls in the plant and help feed that plant to get the best yield possible for the year.”

And Morgan adds that the process is pretty easy.

“So, we take your soil and send it to a third-party lab, they give us a report card of your soil: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. And then we’ll make a custom blend for what your soil is lacking. So, if you need different nutrients in there, we want to appreciate what you have, and then build around what you’re lacking to produce the most yield possible for that crop.”

For Morgan, using DAIRY DOO products is about farming for now and for the future. They know farming is a generational business, and they want to help keep it that way.

“If you already have your seed in the ground, of course we can lean on maybe some of the liquids and then after first cutting, we can lean on more of the soil side for that. So, whatever you as a farmer are wanting to do or achieve, we had a couple of agronomists on staff that this is what they do every day. They work with farmers and they sit down and talk to them. They really dive into what they’re looking for, what their goals are, so we can help achieve them.”
