On the Monday edition of the Michigan Ag Today Podcast: Kip Tom, who's an Indiana farmer, CEO of Tom Farms, and former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Agencies for Food and Agriculture, recently addressed the Indiana Hunger Summit and said America's farmers should take a more active role in fighting food insecurity.

“I don't care if you're a farmer with a garden of an acre or you're a farmer with who knows how many acres, but we need to take ownership in what policy looks like in Washington, D.C. to provide safe, nutritious, and affordable food to the American consumers and those around the world," said Tom.
