
One of Michigan Farm Bureau’s own is a big winner at this year’s American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) Annual Convention!
Tera Baker from Berrien County won the Excellence in Agriculture Award on Monday at the convention held in Anaheim, California. As part of this national honor, Tera receives $35,000 toward a new Ford vehicle, sponsored by Ford Motor Company, along with paid registration to the American Farm Bureau Federation FUSION Conference
The Excellence in Agriculture Award recognizes Farm Bureau members who do not earn the majority of their income from farming but actively contribute to Farm Bureau, the agriculture industry and their communities.
Baker, who, alongside husband Shawn and parents, owns a cash-cropping farm and precision agriculture dealership. She also works for Nedap Livestock Management as a marketing manager.
- Alyssa Clements of Tennessee is the second-place runner-up.
- Megan Espinda of Indiana won third place.
- Garret and Kortney Gaddy of Mississippi are the fourth-place finalists.
