2021 ‘Discover Michigan Farm Fun’ Directory Released

Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan has joined with the Michigan Apple Committee to help launch The Michigan Agritourism Association’s 14th annual edition of the Discover Michigan Farm Fun directory.

A valued agritourism companion, the Discover Michigan Farm Fun Directory highlights fun activities and destinations around the state of Michigan that can be enjoyed by residents or people visiting the state.

“We’re excited about the release of this year’s directory,” said Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan CEO, Don Simon, of the publication which will be available at Farm Bureau Insurance offices across the state. “It lists hundreds of farm destinations across Michigan where visitors can enjoy our state’s bountiful harvest, including farmers’ markets, orchards, cider mills, and many more popular agritourism spots. We’re proud to support Michigan farmers and the agritourism industry.”

The full-color, 130-page directory showcases the unique attractions of the state’s agricultural regions including useful information and colorful photos from featured destinations.

This year’s directory features suggested visits and activities including U-pick farms, educational events and tours, dairies and creameries, farm dining, festivals and events, cider and donuts, petting farms, overnight on the farm, craft beverage tasting (beer, wine and distilled products) and more.

Whether you’re interested in animals, food, seasonal events or any other staple of Michigan’s historical agriculture industry, the Discover Michigan Farm Fun directory can help connect you with a memorable a firsthand experience. Much like the over 300 commodities supported the state’s agricultural infrastructure, the Discover Michigan Farm Fun Directory is also created, produced, and printed entirely in Michigan.
